A contemporary art gallery for the works of only italian artists; the project of enlarging the small semi-private gallery was based on the necessity of having flexible spaces for short term exhibitions and an office space. The space is divided in two zones, one for the exhibitions and the other for the office area. The mezzanine with two staircases on both ends of the gallery distributes the functions and the storage area is thought as an exhibition space. The project, thanks to its wide spaces, large vertical windows, original ceilings and window frames and its unique floor in larch maintains its’ genius loci.
